1000 Trades, JQ
A collage themed salon night hosted by artist Ruth Radcliffe
Sponsored by GF Smith & 1000 Trades
Join us upstairs at the Jewellery Quarter’s ‘best place to drink’ 1000 Trades for a collage themed salon night, guided by the super talented Ruth Radcliffe. Try your hand at crafting a paper collage inspired by your female heroes. It could be a portrait of a famous inventor, author, artist, activist, or maybe even your nan. We invite you to come along and celebrate them through the art of cut and stick, whilst also enjoying some creative conversation with like-minded women in our Ladies, Wine & Design community.
Ruth Radcliffe is a Walsall based artist and illustrator. She crafts beautiful hand illustrated, collage and textile characters, primarily focused on the female form, cats, flowers and birds. Ruth also works in inks and watercolours and regularly delivers creative workshops for both adults and children.
LWD is a not-for-profit organisation.
This event is open to anyone who identifies as female and who works or studies in the creative industries.
