Morag Myerscough

Connecting with colour across the house and the grounds, internationally-acclaimed artist Morag Myerscough will be creating two site-specific installations in 2022: one on the historic house and one in the Old Town Meadow. Morag’s effortlessly energetic visual vocabulary resonates with audiences well beyond geographical and cultural boundaries. She creates specific local responses, using her work to create community and build identity. Expanding on these narratives, we will be providing environments that overwhelm with colour and sound, disrupting and drawing attention to the natural landscape and history of Compton Verney. A program of performances and interventions will take place within the installation in the Old Town Meadow during summer 2022, with opportunities for everyone join in.
