We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to help our brand & product design studio make fun and useful products for our clients. Since 2015 we’ve specialised in building brands, websites and native & web apps for start-ups and corporates in a variety of sectors. We choose projects that inspire us, projects that keep the work interesting, the days varied and our experience ever-growing.

Who we’re looking for

As a Frontend Developer, you’re a coder and creative thinker who loves playing with new technologies and building prototypes. You’re someone who knows it’s the small details that make the biggest difference. Someone who understands what makes great design, animation and interaction. Someone who cares about how stuff feels.

By joining OhMy! you’ll get to craft projects for bold brands and smart startups, in a studio that’s supportive, open and has above average chat. We offer hybrid working, meaning: we’re happy for you to work from home but would like you in the office 2-3 times a week for team check-ins.

What you’ll be doing

Your bread and butter will be Jamstack websites, our current toolkit is based around React, Gatsby and DatoCMS with hosting on Netlify. As well as building websites, you’ll also be prototyping, developing UI toolkits, and working with partners on creating and maintaining products.

The skills you need

We need an online portfolio showing off your best bits and helping us understand that you have the experience and the ability to:

• Create rich and engaging React user interfaces
• Build and release production standard projects from scratch
• Write code that works across browsers and devices
• Accurately translate designs from Figma
• Work with version control using Git
• Some experience with a headless CMS
• A portfolio or links to projects demonstrating your work

What would be nice

This is a client-facing role however the ability to knock up a quick node backend would be extremely useful. Any experience with other backend languages such as Python would also be nice.

Bonus points for having a genuine interest in being part of our team and growing with us. Joining us at our studio 2-3 days a week (flexible) and for team lunches a few times a month.
