As a Senior Graphic Designer you’ll bring a strong eye for design and an ability to drive your team to be able to take strategic concepts and translate them in to beautifully executed, and technically accurate final pieces, whether that be print, motion or digital ensuring you can execute at all touch points.
You will manage, lead and inspire the artwork team to create leading edge visual content. You will be essentially responsible for the final output for the creative team through artworked assets for all execution touch points. You will manage and develop a small team, overseeing all of your team’s activity and involvement for every brief and campaign.
We would be looking for a candidate in this position to be taking a senior leadership role within the team in looking for development within the team’s processes, growth and development. To be considered for this role you’ll need to blend strong design experience, with experience in managing the design process and a design team – with an impeccable eye for detail to ensure that all design is art-worked to the highest standards.
You will manage the artwork team consisting of senior, middleweight and junior artworkers. In this position you will be required to have regular catch ups and reviews with each member of the team to continually feedback and help development through performance development plans.
You will provide expert input across a range of graphic design jobs and deliver high quality artwork to meet the needs of the business, specifically the go to market function such as marketing, trading and brand.
You will be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to your team and others within the creative team with regards to artwork and graphic design.
You will be responsible for delegating work to your team based on time available, skill set and where they specialise. All work will have a set deadline and objective attached to it that must be met every time.
You will be responsible for giving feedback, reviewing and signing off all work from those in your team or anything artwork / graphic design related, this could range from daily emails, social media assets to new branding for the internal recruitment brand; Talent Without Limits.
A key area of the role is the ability to shape the team into areas of execution specialists, such as an individual in the team to focus on just Instagram / Tik Tok / CRM and to create expert content for this channel. The key areas to focus on will be clearly explained by the Marketing channel heads.
