This is an exciting prospect for an enterprising and ambitious videographer/photographer. The role will involve supporting in the creation of a new service offering within a successful graphic design and print business. Working with the directors, marketing and creative team, you will help to build the department and shape the service from the ground up.

Work will involve planning, shooting, editing and producing high quality videos and photos to promote our own businesses and those of our diverse portfolio of clients. In the early days within the role, self-promotion and communication of the new service will be an important part of the job.

Predominantly based at our office in central Birmingham, and working for clients throughout the UK (mainly in the West Midlands) the role will include:

• Planning and storyboarding photo and video projects
• Shooting photo and video content for internal and external clients
• Photo editing
• Video editing, production and publishing
• Content creation for: brochures and marketing literature, websites, vlogs, short video content, social media, web advertising, client asset libraries
• Planning engaging video and photo assets to support and promote our own products and services
• Working some evenings and weekends to meet client schedules and requirements (accruing overtime or time off in lieu)
• Working with sales and marketing to plan and promote new creative product offerings
• Engaging with clients and potential clients to promote our service offer and supporting in attracting and winning new business
• Continued development of own skills and knowledge to keep at the forefront of the industry

The successful candidate will need:

• An enterprising and proactive attitude to business
• Great planning and communication skills to support and lead the storyboarding of projects
• Experience in planning and setting up photo and video shoots
• Experience in using industry standard photography and videography equipment
• Knowledge of industry standard photo and video editing/production platforms
• To inspire confidence in colleagues and clients
• To coach subjects, helping them to feel comfortable in front of the camera
• A creative and enquiring mind 
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than six penalty points

An DBS Enhanced check will be carried out before the candidate can attend client sites.
