I’m Emily an illustrator, muralist, comic maker and blogger based in the Midlands. I love to depict fun and sensitive characters inspired by everyday life and have created successful projects for commercial, editorial, packaging and installation. In my work I aim to find humour in the mundane, celebrating hilarity of tiny moments through observations in my everyday life. I enjoy communicating these ideas through my paintings, drawings, maps and zines, championing people. I aim to create work that challenges our perception on perspective, not always following the rules capturing imperfect, fun outcomes. My work is created with mixed media, aiming towards an end goal but with surprising elements included along the way to keep a little spontaneity and promote joy.
