Over the last six years I have invested a great deal of time to develop new techniques and practices within art. It is how my artistic and commercial journey in Illustration and Collage making began. I often use vintage magazines from mid-twentieth century to create socially engaged pieces applied in a humorous and unprecedented way. My work can be read as a non-narrative celebration of the present and the past or as insightful observations of realities I playfully mix and merge.

Barbara’s work has been exhibited internationally, nationally and locally to include Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, RBSA Gallery, Argentea Gallery, Galeria Retroavangarda, Medicine Bakery and Gallery as well as Birmingham Design Festival, Reclaim Photography Festival Birmingham, New Heritage Exhibition – Birmingham Heritage Week, Jewellery Quarter Festival Exhibition and Birmingham Shout Festival.
Barbara’s work has also been auctioned by Desa Unicum in Warsaw.
